Worship

Worship is central to our life together as a community of faith.  In worship we seek to share and join in God’s story.  The story of God in Christ reconciling the world to himself.

On Sunday mornings between mid-September and the Sunday prior to Memorial Day we have two worship services:

8:30 a.m. Worship Service – a smaller and more informal worship service with typically 30-40 people in attendance.  There is no Choir or Sunday during this service.

10:00 a.m. Worship Service-a larger worship service with typically 140-160 in attendance.  This service includes our Choir singing an introit and an anthem.  There is also a time for children.  Following this time, young people leave for their Sunday School classes.

On Memorial Day weekend through and including Children’s Sunday (typically the 2nd weekend in June) we have one worship service at 10:00 a.m.

Starting on Father’s Day, we move to our summer worship time of 9:00 a.m.   This schedule continues until the Sunday following the Hebron Harvest Fair in September when our broadly graded Sunday School resumes and we return to our 10:00 a.m. worship time.

Throughout the year, there are times when our worship schedule varies (e.g. Palm Sunday, Easter Sunday, Sunday when Sunday School Kick-Offs) so please call or email the Church Office or check the calendar on this website if you have any questions about worship times.
