I hold a positive view on human nature.  The reading from Exodus and numerous times thru history (too many incidences to put here) I wonder why I hold this view.  Humans can be so cruel to each other.  This reading, in addition to a book on WW II I am currently reading shows, undeniably, humanity’s dark side.  This reading does open my thoughts and eyes to reality.  I do appreciate the Lenten Devotional because it slows me down and lets me think outside of my everyday life.  I will continue to concentrate on the positive aspects of human nature.
