March 19                                                                                        Isaiah 50:  4-9a; Hebrews 12:  1-3;

The Lord gave us two ears to hear in order to be able to shut out temptations and those who would try to hurt us with deeds and words. It is easier, at times, to take the path of least resistance; much tougher to stay the course of what you know to be right in your heart.

 

Follow Jesus’ example. Do not be afraid of those who try to harm you. Focus your energy and thoughts on helping others and good will come to you. The rewards you reap from giving with your heart will be far greater than any material thing you may seek. If you listen to the Lord, he will show you the way to strength and peace.
