February 26                                                              1 Corinthians 7:  32-40

 

 

 

 

Dear Lord, it is so easy to find joy in our lives when all is well.  Whether it is our healthy children, plentiful food and shelter, relaxing vacation or just fun times with friends.  We are quite proud of ourselves and many times take credit for it all.  But it is when things are not so joyful, when there is a sick child or other bad turn of events, that we look to You for the strength to carry on.  We must remind ourselves every day that all things come through You.  All our joys and triumphs are from You as is the strength to endure the hardships.  Please Lord, give us that strength to remember this when our days are bright so that we may reach out to others who are in the darkness.  Amen.
