Cowmingle

The youth group held their 2nd Annual Cow Mingle and had a spectacular day. The event starts a few days before with the setting up of the tent. The day before we put together the pen and painted the grid. This year we moved the pen closer to the tent. Tt was on the other side of the parking lot last year, so it was much nicer to have it all together this year. We also had a stronger pen and a smaller cow, to prevent another escape this year. We missed Amber, but as a surprise Ned brought a very cute calf.

The Mingle was expanded to include a celebration of the "Building to Serve" campaign. They painted the footprint of the new addition and also marked out the rooms. It was great to be able to really see what the changes will be like.

Phil and Pastor Denise are the proud owner's of this year's winning box. They will enjoy their prize basket that was filled with everything you would need for an ice cream frenzy as well as there really "swell" trophy.

It was another great afternoon of food, fun, and fellowship!
